Way Back When...

Growing up, I was always heling out in the kitchen with my mum to then making things at school and then living on my own cooking I’ve always loved creating things and have always had the attitude of how hard can something be.

What changed everything...

Taking this approach forward whenever I’ve seen really nice food or been to a restaurant and had really lovely food I’ve always thought I could make that that can’t be that difficult and then I’ve tried it I’m pretty much most of the time it’s turned out okay and I think that’s where the idea came from.

Because you’re not just relying on a recipe and what it says in the book are you actually approaching it with the confidence that if there’s anything different or things are going slightly a different way that you can actually solve the problem and intervene and probably make it better and so using this method I’ve actually got to the level I have I am with cooking and I’m pretty happy to approach any dish and.

Looking forward...

In this journey of mine one of the most amazing types of cooking I’ve discovered is French cooking and looking further into it I realise that it’s pretty much the for the foundation of all modern cooking techniques and certainly the way kitchens are run.

So I want to share these fundamental French cooking techniques in an approach for not only French dishes but many other dishes as a way to really show just how simplified and how anyone can achieve amazing food and amazing cooking results at home with just a little practice and using these fundamental classic cooking techniques

Come along...

My love of good food led me to experience may cuisines from around the world and whilst I enjoy pretty much most of them, the one I always come back to is French cooking. I see this as the foundation to all modern cooking as it has not only influenced so may others, but also created the kitchen organisation that is now used around the world.

and once I started learning more and more about those classic French techniques, I began to realise just how simple the basic ideas are and therefore by mastering these, anything is possible in the kitchen.

This anything is possible idea, coupled with my own how hard can it be attitude, enabled me to make the decision to start a brand new youtube channel totally dedicated to exploring classic French food, it’s techniques and how they can be used to make many other dishes easier at home.

Whether you are new to cooking or a seasoned home chef, if you have an interest in cooking I want to share my passion with you as I explore what I feel is the best way to prepare and cook, some of what is undeniably the best food.
